The phrase "good wood" has become even more meaningful for Greg Klassen than it was when he was a standout batter in high school baseball.

The 29-year-old Lynden resident is grateful to be in the big leagues of fine woodworking after he stumbled into a wonderful way for a born entrepreneur to make a living. Klassen's imaginative custom furniture has won acclaim in several national shows, major galleries and woodworking magazines, including a prestigious book produced by Fine Woodworking magazine.
