So it was only natural for him to take up this craft as a hobby.  After 32 years of employment in R&D for Dow Chemical/Union Carbide, he began pursuing a career in woodworking.  His first step was to utilize the TRA training available and obtain a degree in Fine Woodworking through New River Community and Technical College in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
